Le nuove tribù promuovono nuove infrastrutture di accesso alla Rete. L'innovazione la promuovono i Cittadini; siamo noi quelli che stiamo aspettando.
The search giant Google has stated on multiple occasions that it believes Tiwtter’s real-time search is part of the future of the indexable web. It has talked about partnering with Twitter on real-time results, since Google does not do a good job on its own.
Now we’re learning that Google is addressing this problem and seems to be preparing to release its own microblogging search engine. This new product will sort results by relevancy, will be integrated with standard Google search, and will appear based on frequently-used keywords or current events. It also looks like its main source of results will come from Twitter.
According to the unofficial Google Operating System Blog, the big hint that the microblogging engine is coming is within Google’s translation console, where humans translate their products into multiple languages. Here’s the phrase they want to translate:
“Recent updates about QUERY. This is the MicroBlogsearch Universal result group header text. A Microblog is a blog with very short entries. Twitter is the popular service associated with this format.”
